In 2008, the founders of KO Angotti recognized that the economic downtrend was impacting Philadelphia businesses and residents. Energy costs were steadily climbing while consumer’s income was consistently contracting. There was an obvious need to improve energy efficiency in both private residences and commercial buildings.
KO Angotti was already focused on commercial and residential interior design, but observed a need to balance aesthetic appearance with efficient energy consumption. This led us to concentrate on energy audits in order to decrease our client’s utility expenses and improve the safety of their homes by testing for potentially harmful conditions. Blending energy audits with interior design services has resulted in decreased energy costs, higher valued real estate, greater environmental responsibility, and safer more comfortable surroundings for Philadelphia metro residents.
